Junior Data Scientist - Fraud Detection

What role will you play in the team?

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing fraud detection models to safeguard our clients' financial assets. You'll collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of fraudulent activities.

What you will do?

You will primarily focus on building, testing, and deploying machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud. This involves data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, and performance evaluation. You'll also contribute to improving existing models and staying updated on the latest fraud detection techniques.

Key responsibility

• Develop and implement machine learning models for fraud detection.
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
• Perform feature engineering to improve model accuracy.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques.
