Private Equity Investment Associate - Deal Sourcing & Execution

What role will you play in the team:

As a Private Equity Investment Associate, you'll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities. You will conduct due diligence, build financial models, and work closely with portfolio companies to drive value creation. You will also support fundraising activities.

What you will do:

Your key activities will include conducting market research, analyzing financial statements, building and maintaining financial models, and participating in investment committee meetings. You will also be involved in the negotiation and structuring of deals, as well as monitoring and supporting portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across various industries.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on target companies, including financial, operational, and commercial analysis.
• Build and maintain complex financial models to assess investment returns and sensitivities.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
• Participate in deal negotiations and structuring.
• Monitor and support portfolio companies to drive operational improvements and value creation.
• Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
• 
  Develop and maintain relationships with industry experts, advisors, and other private equity firms.
• Support fundraising activities, including the preparation of investor presentations and due diligence materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier institution; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including proficiency in DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis.
• Experience with financial databases such as Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Capital IQ, and PitchBook.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of private equity investment strategies and deal structures.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of private equity investing.
• Basic Accounting knowledge is a must.
