Private Equity Investment Associate - Growth Capital

What role will you play in the team: As a Private Equity Investment Associate, you will support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of growth capital investments. You will play a crucial role in conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and preparing investment recommendations. Your insights will contribute to investment decisions.

What you will do: You will analyze potential investment opportunities, build financial models to assess investment returns, and conduct due diligence to evaluate business risks and opportunities. You will collaborate with senior investment professionals in structuring and negotiating investment terms. You'll support portfolio companies as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Sourcing and screening potential investment opportunities.
• Conducting industry and market research to identify attractive investment sectors.
• Performing financial analysis and building complex financial models.
• Conducting due diligence, including reviewing legal documents and interviewing management teams.
• Preparing investment memoranda and presentations for the investment committee.
• Assisting in the negotiation and structuring of investment transactions.
• Monitoring and supporting portfolio companies.
• Building and maintaining relationships with industry experts and potential co-investors.

• Staying up-to-date on market trends and regulatory developments.
• Contributing to the overall investment strategy of the firm.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Experience with due diligence and transaction execution.
• Familiarity with capital markets platforms (e.g., Eikon, Capital IQ), PitchBook, and Dealogic.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Passion for investing and a strong interest in the private equity industry.
