Private Equity Investment Associate - Portfolio Management

What role will you play in the team:

As a Private Equity Investment Associate specializing in Portfolio Management, you will actively manage and monitor our existing portfolio companies. You will analyze their performance, identify areas for improvement, and work closely with management teams to drive growth and value creation.

You will perform detailed financial analysis, develop strategic recommendations, and monitor portfolio company performance against key metrics. Your work will directly impact the overall success and profitability of our private equity investments.

Key Responsibility:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and performance reviews of portfolio companies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify potential risks or opportunities.
• Work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive value creation.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
• Conduct due diligence on potential add-on acquisitions for portfolio companies.
• Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial projections and valuation models.
  
• Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio company stakeholders.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in using financial databases such as Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, and PitchBook.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with portfolio management or operational improvement is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
