Job Description

The Process Associate will form part of Peoplescient s compliance governance and employee helpdesk practice, employee query management, and statutory data operations. The role is ideal for candidates with a Finance and Accounts, BPO/KPO background who are detail oriented, process driven, and eager to grow in the area of compliance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in preparing and reviewing compliance documentation (PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishments, Gratuity, etc.).
  2. Coordinate with client HR and finance teams to collect necessary data and documents for ongoing assignments.
  3. Manage intake and triage of employee queries via helpdesk platforms; escalate complex cases to legal associates.
  4. Support in preparing reports, proposals, and advisory notes for clients.
  5. Follow up with government authorities on registration, renewal, or compliance submissions, as required.
  6. Maintain and update project trackers, MIS reports, and documentation records for internal reference.
  7. Ensure 100 adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and internal quality benchmarks.
  8. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of deliverables under the guidance of senior team members.
  9. Maintain accurate records and trackers for client specific compliance calendars.
  10. Coordinate with client HR/Finance teams for data collection, clarifications, and issue resolution.
  11. Stay updated with PF/EPFO circulars, notifications, and relevant legal developments.
  12. Reviewing and analyzing claim files and related documents to identify any missing information or pendencies.
  13. Managing and maintaining databases of various types of claims and other financial information.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Graduate in Commerce/Management or related field.
  2. Strong MS Excel skills and comfort with online portals and statutory filing systems.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  5. Attention to detail, compliance mindset, and ability to handle multiple clients.
  6. Ability to interact with EPFO officers or government departments
  7. Ability to work with large volumes of data
