Senior Machine Learning Scientist - NLP For Customer Service

What role will you play in the team:

As a Senior Machine Learning Scientist specializing in NLP for customer service, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced natural language processing models to enhance our client's customer service operations. You will be a key contributor to improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying NLP models for various customer service applications, such as chatbots, sentiment analysis, and topic modeling. You will also conduct research to identify new opportunities for applying NLP to improve the customer experience.

Key responsibility:

• Design and develop NLP models for customer service applications, including chatbots and sentiment analysis.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art NLP techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer service needs and requirements.
• Evaluate and optimize model performance using appropriate metrics.
• Deploy and monitor NLP models in production environments.
• 
  Document model development and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior data scientists and engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and machine learning.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Natural Language Processing, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in developing and deploying NLP models.
• Expertise in Python and NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, and Transformers.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with customer service domain is a plus.
