Senior Node.js Developer

What role will you play in the team: You will serve as a technical lead, guiding the development of our backend services and APIs. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient solutions that power our applications. Your expertise will drive architectural decisions and mentor junior developers.

What you will do: As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will lead the development of RESTful APIs and microservices. You will collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components with backend services. You will also be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our backend infrastructure.

• Design and develop scalable and efficient backend services using Node.js.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor junior developers and share technical expertise.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and trends.
• Manage and optimize database systems such as MongoDB.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Expertise in Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with database systems such as MongoDB and MySQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Knowledge of security best practices for web applications.
