Senior Strategic Consultant - Operational Efficiency
Job Description
What role will you play in the team: As a Senior Strategic Consultant focused on Operational Efficiency, you will lead projects to optimize business processes, reduce costs, and improve overall organizational performance. Your expertise will drive strategic changes that enhance productivity and profitability.
What you will do: You will analyze current operational workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Your insights will guide the redesign of processes, leading to significant efficiency gains.
Key responsibility:
- Conduct comprehensive process assessments using process mapping tools like Visio and Lucidchart to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Utilize data analysis tools like Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the impact of implemented changes.
- Manage projects using project management tools such as Jira and Asana, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of process improvements.
- Provide training and support to employees on new processes and technologies.
- Conduct market research using tools such as Nielsen to benchmark operational performance against industry best practices.
- Develop financial models in Excel to evaluate the cost-benefit of proposed operational changes.
- Implement and optimize ERP systems like SAP or Oracle to improve data management and reporting.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management through presentations and reports.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in operational consulting or process improvement roles.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio and Lucidchart.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience with project management tools like Jira and Asana.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in excel and preparing powerpoint presentations
- Candidate must be willing to travel within India.
