Sr. Audit Manager - Remote

As an integral part of our team, you will lead the planning, execution, and reporting of audits that ensure compliance within a heavily regulated industry. Your role will involve not only overseeing audits but also facilitating enterprise risk assessments, maintaining meticulous documentation, and engaging with leadership to drive strategic improvements. Accountabilities

• Coordinate and lead all internal and external audits, including SOC 1, SOC 2, and healthcare regulatory audits.
• Act as the primary liaison between auditors and internal stakeholders for effective audit fulfillment.
• Oversee the development and execution of remediation and corrective action plans addressing audit findings.
• Report progress, findings, and outcomes of audits to senior leadership and relevant committees.
• Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan focusing on health plan operations.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal healthcare regulations across audited functions.
• Conduct operational audits to evaluate key business processes within the health plan.
• Facilitate the annual enterprise risk assessment and quarterly updates on unique industry risks.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry such as healthcare or finance.
• Strong background in internal audit and risk management.
• Expertise in interpreting complex regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple demands.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
