As the Vice President of Controllers Data Transformation within our Finance team, you will define, refine, and deliver strategic goals for our firm. You will lead the integration of advanced technologies, such as Large Language Model APIs, to promote scalable product development and enhance strategic transformation initiatives. Your role involves developing and implementing a digital strategy that aligns with company objectives, fostering innovation across technology and product domains. You will optimize business processes, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify improvements and enhance customer experience. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, regulators, and industry partners, will be crucial. You will track the progress of transformation initiatives, analyze results, and provide regular reports to management, while monitoring business unit performance against plans and agreements. Recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performing team of transformation professionals will be part of your responsibilities, along with acting as a subject matter expert and advisor. You will assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and safeguarding the firms reputation and assets. Your influence will directly impact the business by guiding strategic functional decisions and persuading others through effective communication and diplomacy..
Job Responsibilities
Spearhead the integration of cutting-edge technologies, including Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, to drive scalable product development and enhance strategic transformation initiatives. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with company goals, fostering innovation across technology and product domains to build future-readiness.
Optimize business processes, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, drive operational efficiencies, and enhance customer experience.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, regulators, and industry partners.
Track the progress of transformation initiatives, analyze results, and provide regular reports to management. Monitor business unit performance against the business plan and service level agreements identify gaps.
Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of transformation professionals. Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to new or lower-level employees.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding assets. Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy and applying sound ethical judgment.
Directly impact the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel, or provided services. Persuade and influence others through comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
. Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent field.
. 15+ years of overall IT Experience working as Transformation lead, Data,
. Technology literacy in ETL (Export, Transform, and Load Automation), AI ML as a technology, Workflow automation, Robot process automation, Data Science and Statistics

. Experience with statistical techniques - i.e. data mining, data transformations, text mining, data visualization.
. Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to structure problems.
. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
. Demonstrated expertise in data wrangling and model building on a distributed Spark computation environment (with stability, scalability and efficiency).
. Experience on Agile and CI-CD process. Diploma or degree in Innovation Management
. Design and process improvement certification. Lean Six Sigma Black belt certified. Design thinking certification
. Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
