Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and providing strategic insights to support the company's growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Develop financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  
• Monitor cash flow and manage risk to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting principles.
• Lead the preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports.
• Work closely with other departments to drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and financial processes.
• Monitor credit control and receivables analysis, including age-wise reporting, and establish an effective collection process.
• Oversee revenue accounting and billing processes across branches, including interbranch billing and settlements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  Get Hired
  3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, auditing, or financial review, with a strong preference for experience in the Freight/Shipping/Express industry.
• Well-versed with all three TAX categories: VAT, GPA, and Corporate Tax.
• Exposure to UAE banking system, processes, and procedures for international bank transactions, as well as rules and regulations regarding Foreign Exchange & Payments.
• Preferably from Dubai or Sharjah Emirates.
• Experience in handling Debtors/Creditors.
• Valid driving license.
