Role Overview

The Accountant at Klekktic is a hands-on financial leader responsible for managing the company's end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role goes beyond bookkeeping and plays a critical role in financial planning, risk management, cash flow optimization, and decision support for management.

You will act as the company's financial backbone, ensuring accuracy, compliance with UAE tax and regulatory frameworks, and providing clear financial visibility to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

Manage the full accounting cycle including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, accruals, and reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS

Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections

Provide management with financial analysis, variance reports, and actionable insights

Monitor and optimize working capital and cash flow

UAE Taxation and Regulatory Compliance

Ensure full compliance with UAE Corporate Tax requirements including registration, taxable income calculation, and return filing

Manage VAT compliance including registration, calculation, filing, and reconciliation

Handle Federal Tax Authority audits, queries, and correspondence

Maintain proper documentation to meet all FTA requirements

Ensure compliance with UAE commercial laws, ESR where applicable, and audit regulations

Controls, Audits, and Governance

Design and enforce strong internal controls and financial policies

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners

Prepare audit schedules and manage smooth year-end audits

Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready at all times

Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies

Strategic and Operational Support

Partner with leadership on pricing, profitability, and cost optimization

Support business expansion, new initiatives, and operational scaling

Review contracts, payment terms, and financial implications of commercial decisions

Continuously improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA are highly preferred

Minimum of five years of accounting or financial management experience, preferably within the UAE

Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations

Solid experience with IFRS reporting standards

Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
