Head Of Engineering, Remote, India

This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly accomplished Head of Engineering with deep expertise in AI, end-to-end AI product development, and enterprise-grade software engineering. The ideal candidate also brings strong account management capability, client handling skills, and experience running a Centre of Excellence and Centre of Innovation. This role requires a self-driven, business-oriented, and technology-oriented leader who is responsible for delivering excellence, innovation, and strategic engineering direction.
Responsibilities

• Understand the values and vision of the organization.
• Protect the Intellectual Property.
• Adhere to all the policies and procedures.
• Manage key client accounts, ensuring seamless communication, delivery satisfaction, and long-term partnership.
• Experience in achieving new client wins and driving successful account growth
• Oversee and run the Centre of Excellence (CoE) and the Centre of Innovation to drive continuous improvement and R&D.
• Take ownership of the P&L for the engineering division, ensuring cost control, budgeting, and financial accountability.
• Take full responsibility for engineering deliveries with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and efficiency.
• Architect AI-first product features, automation systems, and intelligent workflows.
• Define engineering strategy, long-term architecture, and scalable technology frameworks.
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering, AI/ML, and DevOps teams.
• Drive CI/CD, MLOps, DevOps maturity, and automation across engineering.
• Collaborate closely with business, product, and leadership teams to align engineering execution with strategic goals.
• Foster a culture of innovation, problem-solving, customer focus, and delivery excellence.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 18+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 58 years in AI/ML leadership.
• Proven track record of delivering AI-led products end-to-end.
