About the Opportunity

Metier Group is partnering exclusively with a well-established, privately held investment group headquartered in JLT, Dubai to appoint an HR & Operations Manager reporting directly to the Group CEO.

With a diversified portfolio spanning real estate development, direct investments, and family office activities across the UAE, UK, and international markets, this is a broad, high-impact role at the centre of a growing business with approximately 35 professionals group-wide.

Important: This opportunity is open exclusively to candidates already based in Dubai, UAE with valid residency. We are unable to offer international relocation or visa sponsorship for this position.

The Role

This is not a siloed HR position. You will serve as the operational backbone of the group taking full ownership of people operations, office management, compliance, and administrative support across multiple entities. You will be a trusted partner to the Group CEO on all people and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources & People Operations

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment coordination, onboarding, probation reviews, performance management, and offboarding across all group entities
  • Administer HR policies, employment contracts, and employee handbooks in line with UAE Labour Law and applicable free zone regulations
  • Coordinate payroll processing, leave management, and benefits administration with external providers
  • Oversee visa processing, labour cards, Emirates ID renewals, and government-related documentation in coordination with the PRO
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support workforce planning alongside the CEO

Office & Facilities Management

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the JLT headquarters including vendor management, procurement, and facilities upkeep
  • Manage office budgets, negotiate service contracts, and maintain a professional working environment
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and hospitality requirements for senior leadership

Compliance & Corporate Governance

  • Support trade licence renewals, corporate registrations, and regulatory filings across group entities
  • Maintain organised records of corporate documents, board resolutions, and statutory filings
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, auditors, and regulatory bodies as directed

Portfolio & Family Office Support

  • Provide operational and administrative support across the group's real estate operations, portfolio companies, and family investment office
  • Assist with board meeting coordination, investor communications, and preparation of management reports
  • Support due diligence processes and document management for investment and real estate transactions

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years experience in an HR and/or operations management role, ideally within a multi-entity group, family office, or investment holding company
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS, visa processing, and free zone regulations
  • Proven experience managing office operations, vendor relationships, and facilities in a corporate environment

  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • CIPD or SHRM certification is a distinct advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are a strong plus
  • Highly organised, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with real autonomy
  • Must be currently based in Dubai, UAE with valid residency
