Applied Machine Learning Scientist

What role you will play in team: You will be part of a collaborative team focused on applying machine learning to solve real-world problems within Microsoft products and services.

What you will do: You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models at scale, working with large datasets and complex systems.

Key responsibility:

• Design and develop machine learning models using advanced techniques such as deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Work with large-scale datasets using distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Hadoop.
• Evaluate and improve model performance using rigorous metrics.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models into production environments.
• 
  Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in machine learning.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R.
• Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
