Job Description
- Prospecting & Acquisition: Identify, target, and solicit new group and event business through sales calls, site visits, industry tradeshows, and networking.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary liaison for assigned clients, from initial inquiry through contract negotiation, planning, and post-event follow-up.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) in collaboration with the catering and operations teams.
- Revenue Management: Achieve and exceed sales targets for room nights, food & beverage revenue, and ancillary services; manage group rates and inventory.
- Site Inspections: Conduct compelling and detailed site inspections of event spaces, guest rooms, and facilities for potential clients.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with convention services, catering, operations, and banqueting teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
- Proven track record in hotel group or event sales.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and contract management skills.

- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Knowledge of hospitality sales software (e.g., Delphi.fdc, Opera Sales & Catering) and CRM systems.
