Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Scientist with 47 years of hands-on experience in building data-driven solutions, capable of independently driving end-to-end data science initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition to model deployment.
• Analyze large, structured, and unstructured datasets to extract meaningful insights.

• Build, validate, and deploy machine learning models for prediction, classification, and recommendation use cases.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into analytical solutions.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports for data visualization and decision-making.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and communicate findings clearly to non-technical teams.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and processes for transparency and knowledge sharing.

Core Technical Skills

• 47 years of professional experience in Data Science or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

Get Hired
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Experience with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib/Seaborn.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to MLOps, model deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Domain experience, e-commerce, or technology products is an advantage.
