Position: Legal & Government Liaison Officer

Location: Delhi and/or Muzaffarnagar

Experience: 58 Years

Reporting To: Head – Legal / Compliance / Management

Role Summary

The Legal & Government Liaison Officer will support the company’s in-house legal and compliance function by managing civil litigation coordination, revenue and land matters, and regular follow-ups with government departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil cases, arbitration matters, execution proceedings, and appeals handled by external advocates.
• Track hearing dates, court orders, compliance timelines, and case status.
• Handle follow-ups before Tehsildar, SDM, ADM, Collector, and Revenue Courts.
• Assist in mutation, land records, demarcation, lease, acquisition, and compensation matters.
• Liaise with district administration, municipal bodies, pollution control boards, and utilities.
• Prepare and submit applications, representations, replies to notices, and compliance documents.
• Maintain structured physical and digital legal records.
• Prepare periodic case status and compliance reports for management.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate; Law degree preferred but not mandatory.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in legal coordination and government liaison.
• Familiarity with courts and government offices in UP and Delhi.
• Working knowledge of civil procedures and land/revenue processes.
• Fluent in Hindi and English.
• Willingness to handle field work independently.
