Job overview:

The role is for a Functional Consultant in Finance Projects and Systems Implementation. This requires a blend of finance and technical skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The person in this role plays a vital part in ensuring that the implemented financial systems meet the business needs and goals.

This Role will report to Finance and closely work with IT .

• Understanding, documenting, and analyzing the business processes and requirements related to financial systems such as NetSuite, Workday Adaptive, Tableau etc.
• Good understanding of order-to-cash (O2C), procure-to-pay (P2P), record-to-report (R2R) processes.
• Ensure business requirements are accurately captured and translated into the systems functionality.
• Designing and implementing solutions that align with the businesss financial needs and goals.
• Collaborating with the technical team to translate business requirements into system specifications.
• Configuring and customizing financial systems according to the business requirements (add on)
• Conducting functional testing of the implemented systems to ensure they meet the business requirements.
• Working with stakeholders to troubleshoot any issues that arise during implementation, and post-implementation.
• Providing training and support to users of the financial systems.
• Collaborating with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project.

• Conducting post-implementation reviews to assess the success of the transition and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelors degree in finance. Masters degree in business administration MBA or CA is preferred.
• Overall 7+ years of versatile experience in accounting, finance implementation projects, handling adhoc queries, working with multiple stakeholders
• Should have been reporting to Finance teams in their Respective automation Roles.
• Strong understanding of finance processes (O2C, P2P and R2R) and systems.
• Preferred if you have hands-on functional experience with NetSuite ERP
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Excel (spreadsheets) and MS PowerPoint (powerpoints).
