A leading foreign bank is looking for a Head of Retail Banking for their branch in East Africa. This role reports to the CEO. This is an on-site opportunity which requires relocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the retail banking function.
• Drive growth across the branch network through performance management and operational excellence.
• Lead the development and rollout of innovative retail banking products and services.
  
• Enhance customer experience and service delivery standards across all retail touchpoints.
• Ensure profitability through effective cost management, revenue growth, and portfolio optimization.
• Oversee sales performance, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management frameworks.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing retail teams.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve overall business objectives.
