Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Junior Accountant at our dynamic company, you will be an integral part of the finance team. This entry-level role is perfect for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to establish a solid accounting foundation. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support in preparing financial statements and management reports.
- Aid in audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements.
- Organize financial records and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Familiarity with accounting principles such as GAAP/IFRS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero, or Zoho Books is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
