Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Drafting and vetting Legal Notices under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act
- Drafting Demand Notices under Section 13(2), Possession Notices, and Section 14 applications under the SARFAESI Act
- Managing MIS updation and reporting in coordination with branch/location teams
- Handling court visits for Section 14 SARFAESI matters, including document verification and DRT cases
- Execution of Section 14 orders, including liaison with police authorities and court commissioners
- Maintaining and managing data related to possessed properties, SARFAESI actions, and litigation
- Handling cases filed against the organization, including: Civil suits
Consumer court matters
Complaints before RBI, NHB, and other regulatory authorities - Coordinating with location teams and panel advocates to expedite litigation and recovery processes
- Assisting in auditssuch as NHB, Internal, Concurrent audits, and providing data for provisioning and Board Decks

Preferred candidate profile
- Qualification: LLB (mandatory)
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in HFC / NBFC / Bank
- Strong working knowledge of SARFAESI Act, NI Act, DRT procedures
- Proven ability to independently manage legal recovery portfolios
- Strong coordination, drafting, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MIS, documentation, and compliance reporting
