PaaS Extensions Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AI Lead to drive the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions leveraging Generative AI, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in architecting, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications and integrating AI solutions, with a strong focus on customer success, solution delivery, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI and cloud-based solutions using Gen AI, OIC, VBCS, and OCI.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver technical solutions that meet business objectives.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing AI solutions integrated with Oracle cloud environments.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring best practices in software engineering, AI/ML model development, and Oracle cloud tool adoption.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the project team and junior engineers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding product owners, architects, and business analyststo deliver robust solutions on time.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills when presenting complex technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities for AI-enabled process automation and digital transformation within customer projects.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and Oracles best practice guidelines in all project activities.
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a lead role focusing on AI/Machine Learning and Oracle Cloud technologies.
• Proven experience in implementing and integrating Generative AI models into cloud applications.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Proficiency in developing enterprise applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)/ any front end technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in deploying solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, architecture, and data governance.
• Excellent communication skillsboth verbal and written.
• Prior experience working directly with customers in project-based environments.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a results-oriented mindset.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Oracle certifications in relevant cloud/AIl technologies.
• Experience with API development and management.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  

Responsibilities
Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
