Description
Roles & Responsibilities :

Develop and implement predictive models (e.g., delinquency risk, fraud probability, roll-rate models).
Build prescriptive models to recommend next-best actions, channels, and recovery strategies.
Perform data analysis, feature engineering, model training, and validation.
Work with data from core banking systems, collections platforms, transaction systems, and CRM tools.

Validate and test models for accuracy, stability, and bias.
Collaborate with business and risk teams to translate requirements into ML solutions.
Support deployment, monitoring, and retraining of models in production.
Ensure model documentation and explainability for audit and compliance needs.

Required Skills & Experience

6-8 years of experience in AI/ML and data science roles.

Hands-on experience building models for banking or credit union domains, especially collections or fraud, Mortgage sales forecasting etc.
Strong understanding of predictive and prescriptive analytics.
Proficiency in Python, ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM).
Strong SQL and experience with data warehouses (Snowflake)
Experience with model explainability
Good understanding of end-to-end banking workflows.
