Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior / Financial Accountant to join our Dubai-based finance team. This is a hands-on senior role responsible for managing end-to-end accounting (AZ) across multiple entities, supporting group-level reporting, financial consolidations, and management decision-making. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, compliance knowledge, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle (AZ) for multiple legal entities
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle group reporting, financial consolidations, and supporting schedules
• Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and balance integrity
• Manage bank relationships, treasury operations, and cash flow planning
  
• Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets and financial forecasts
• Ensure timely VAT filings, tax documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support external audits, audit queries, and internal control procedures
• Oversee or coordinate payroll processing and related accounting entries
• Deliver financial analysis, variance reports, and management dashboards to senior management

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Strong hands-on experience with the complete accounting cycle (AZ)
• Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT, compliance, and filings
• Investment, financial services, or group finance background preferred
• Proven experience managing multiple entities / group structures
• Strong expertise in intercompany accounting and reconciliations
