JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB FAMILY: Marketing JOB TITLE Estimation

A. KEY PURPOSE FOR THE JOB:
Responsible for developing, implementing and executing for estimation and costing in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

B. PROFILE OF THE JOB HOLDER:GRADEQUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE

Estimation Engineer Diploma (E&E) /BE (E&E)

C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enquiry list shall be updated.
• Acknowledge the receipt of enquiry.
• Go through the enquiry by thoroughly studying the SLD, BOQ, specification & approved make list and understand the requirement of the customer.
• As per customer requirements preparation of costing sheet shall be done.
• Detailed techno commercial offer to be submitted to the customer in time & get the confirmation receipt of the same by the customer.
• Technical discussion/clarification shall be done with the customer.
• Based on the technical discussion/MOM revised offer to be submitted.
• Further commercial discussion shall be intimated to team leader.

• Work with the other marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors.
• Reaching the given targets in given time.
• Monitoring and analysing market trends.
• Studying competitors' products and services.
• Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability.
• Travelling to trade shows, conferences and sales meetings.
• Supporting and managing a marketing team.
• Trains marketing staff members.
• Establishes marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts.
• Oversees current offerings and comes up with initiatives for new products.
• Researches and analyses market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies.
• Works with marketing staff to develop detailed marketing plans for all channels and sales teams.
• Provides in-depth information to interested clients, and acts as a representative for the marketing department in important buyer meetings.
• Works within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product.
• Tracks all offers submitted related data and creates detailed written reports and verbal communication bring to senior.

• Product knowledge.
• Understanding of enquiry like SLD, BOQ, Specification & make list.
• communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively.
