National Legal Manager - Non Litigation - Property/LAP/Mortgage - LLB/LLM

Description:
- The National Legal Manager Non-Litigation will be responsible for leading and managing a large distributed legal operations team focused on property document validation, legal due diligence, and non-litigation compliance across India.
- The role demands strong real estate law knowledge, people management skills, process governance, and the ability to work closely with business and asset teams.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 15+ years of legal experience in non-litigation, preferably in home finance, mortgage, LAP, NBFC, BFSI, or real estate.

- Strong exposure to property title verification, conveyancing, and real estate legal documentation.
- Proven experience in managing large geographies or high-volume legal processes.
Qualification:
- LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications in real estate law or conveyancing preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of state-wise property laws, stamp acts, and registration processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management ability (large distributed workforce).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- High ownership, governance mindset, and process orientation.
- Ability to travel when required for reviews, audits, or escalations.
