About the Company

Job Title: Sales Manager Refractory & Industrial Minerals

Products: Alumina | Fluorspar | Carbon | Synthetic Flux

Location: Open (Kolkata / Ranchi)

Reporting To: Sales Head / Director

Experience: Minimum 2 years (depending on level)

About the Role

Responsible for driving sales of refractory raw materials and metallurgical consumables including alumina, fluorspar, carbon, and synthetic flux. The role involves customer acquisition, account management, technical sales support, and coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales for alumina, fluorspar, carbon, and synthetic flux products.
  • Manage existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Engage with steel plants, aluminium smelters, foundries, refractory manufacturers, and traders.
  • Conduct technical discussions on product grades, applications, and specifications.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms and close supply agreements.
  • Coordinate with procurement, QC, logistics, and accounts teams.
  • Track market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and support management reviews.
  • Travel extensively to customer locations as required.

Qualifications

Graduate in Science / Chemistry / Metallurgy / Mechanical / Commerce.

Relevant sales experience preferred.
