Job Description
- As a Data Operations Executive at Material Depot, your role involves being part of the team responsible for ensuring accurate, clean, and optimized product catalog and vendor data for business use. You will collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and technology platforms to manage product listings, clean data, and streamline workflows for India's largest interior materials platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Listing & Management
- Upload and maintain product data across Material Depot's systems.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product attributes like size, finish, pricing, and categories.
- Vendor Coordination
- Interact with vendors to collect and validate product data.
- Follow up with vendors for missing details or corrections.
- Data Cleaning & Collation
- Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors in data, and resolve them proactively.
- Data Analysis & Queries
- Use SQL to query, validate, and manipulate datasets.
- Generate reports and insights to support internal teams.
- Excel Mastery
- Create and maintain detailed Excel sheets for bulk product uploads and validations.
- Build advanced formulas, pivot tables, and automated checks for efficiency.
- Process Efficiency
- Maintain high standards of data hygiene across all systems.

Qualifications Required:
- 12 years of work experience in data operations, catalog management, or related fields.
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write and optimize queries.
- Strong skills in Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning tools.
- Excellent aptitude, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.
