Summary:
The AR Billing Team Lead is accountable for managing end-to-end billing process, managing and developing the team. They will drive a culture of growth, data driven performance management and improvement, with a relentless focus on service delivery. The AR Billing Team Lead provides leadership to a team of Senior Analyst and Billing Analysts and is accountable to deliver results in line with company profit targets.
Responsibilities:
- Scope AR Collection activities managed by team-Billing Activities (customer invoice issuing, invoice dispute management).
- Operational Delivery-Coordinates and supervises day-to-day prioritizing of tasks, balancing workload across the team.
- Performance Management and CI- Drives team and process performance through data driven insights. Coordinates, develops and maintains documentation on projects and team assignments.
- Stakeholder Management- Provide clear, concise, and regular updates to all identified stakeholders, both internal and external, and leadership. Drives operational governance.
- Escalation Management- Monitor team performance in handling escalations and provide coaching to improve proficiency. Timely reporting of issues to relevant stakeholders
- Operational Support- Oversee billing analysis and processes, including margin calculations and submission of invoices with supporting documentation.
- Risk, Compliance & Controls- Maintain controls and procedures of AR Billing process. Ensures that controls are operated as design. Strong Governance around all controls as per RCMs (Risk Control Matrix).
- Team Management- Mentor and provide Guidance to peers and other team members.
Position requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finance & accounting
- 10+ years experience in a GBS or BPO
- Expert knowledge of end-to-end order to invoice process and related accounting (IFRS15)
- Experience in resource planning, scheduling, and workflow management.

- Experience managing a collection team and driving performance against KPIs.
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate people.
- Stakeholder management experience at operational level.
- Experience with ERP system: SAP is a must
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or any other equivalent training - desirable but not essential.
