Primary Functions:

• Gather, analyze, and transform large sets of raw data into performance reports with actionable insights using SQL, SAS, and other emerging technologies
• Develop and automate advanced visualizations in Tableau with the ability to display KPI trends and outliers in real-time
• Collaborate with business owners to take a data-driven approach in identifying revenue or customer engagement opportunities and recommend actions for further improvement
• Validate and performance-tune complex SQL queries
• Train team members on SQL and Tableau best practices
• Communicate engagement trends and opportunity areas with the team, business stakeholders, and senior leaders in a digestible way through both written and verbal communications
• Recommend and implement customer data models to drive new and optimized ways to influence the customer to take a ‘next best action’

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

• 3 to 6 years of Relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science or engineering
• Proficient with SQL, Python, and data processing tools such as SAS
• Proficient with Tableau and advanced data visualization
• Solution-oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
• Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

• Working knowledge of statistical/machine learning tools (e.g., R, TensorFlow) preferred
• Working knowledge of “Big Data” solutions such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MapReduce, etc. preferred
• Experience in designing data models for cloud-based solutions from leading cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, etc.
• Self-motivated and take pride in building great products for key stakeholders
• Resourceful in finding the data and tools you need to get the job done
• Not afraid to ask for help when you need it, or help teammates when they need a boost
