Role Summary
The role will be key in scaling & making Simplilearns financial systems and processes world-class, especially as Simplilearn has entered into a hyper-growth stage and prepare for an IPO listing within two years timeframe .This position will endeavor Simplilearn to operate like a public listed company, always audit-ready. In this role, the person will coordinate with Statutory & Internal Auditors and the Audit Committee with respect to the timeliness of audits and implementation of control improvements identified.The role will also lead the automation of end-to-end processes, including the implementation of new ERP & best of breed finance technology products which make the finance team more effective and efficient. He will also be responsible for implementation of IFRS, US GAAP , ITGC controls and prepare the organization for IPO once the management decides on its IPO plansThis position reports to the Finance Controller and will be part of the CFO leadership team. The position will be coordinating with Tax, Legal / Secretarial, Procurement, and FP&A, sub-teams of Finance, and other inter department stakeholders to deliver high-quality Finance team outcomes, on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the review process and implement process controls on AP, AR, Cash Flow Management and Employee payments
- Drive Timely, Accurate and High Quality Month Close, including Consolidation
- Timely Completion of Stat & Internal Audits
- Drive automation initiatives & ERP rollouts
- Manage cash flow forecast and actual movement
- Work on IPO preparations
- Work with FP&A Teams to ensure the data is captured in Accounting Systems is complete to facilitate faster Management Reporting & Analysis
- Manage and mentor a team of around 10-15 people including on-roll and outsourced

- 8-10+ Years of relevant Work Experience
- Relevant Sectors - IT / ITES / E-Commerce / SaaS
- Worked on Finance Systems like Zoho, Oracle, SAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Chartered Accountant, preferably with Big 4 experience
- Passion for driving simplification and automation
- A good team player
