Job Description
Country Head (Africa Region)
The Country Head Africa Region will be responsible for overall Business Development and regional growth of the companys Solar EPC business across assigned African countries. This role carries complete ownership of the region including market entry, revenue growth, partnerships and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Business Development activities for the assigned African region.
Develop and execute regional BD strategies for Solar EPC projects.
Identify, pursue, and close utility-scale, C&I and government solar projects.
Manage the complete BD lifecycle: lead generation, bidding, negotiation and closure.
Build and maintain relationships with developers, IPPs, government authorities, utilities, and financiers.
Oversee tender/RFP processes in coordination with technical and commercial teams.
Monitor regional market trends, regulatory policies, and competitor activities.
Represent the company in regional and international business forums.
Lead, guide, and monitor local BD teams and channel partners.
Ensure achievement of regional revenue and pipeline targets.
Experience & Eligibility
Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development is mandatory.

Experience working in African markets is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong exposure to EPC business models is preferred.

Strong commercial, negotiation and strategic planning skills.
Ability to manage multi-country operations.

Willingness to travel across African countries.
