  • Significant expertise in various concepts of payroll, its application in the payroll system & implication at various places of payroll, accounting and compliances domains.
  • Responsible for end to end processing of payroll ~2500 to 3000 employees independently with tax variance analysis.
  • Should be able to handle employee exit management under payroll/ should be well versed with employee full & final settlement.
  • Expat taxation, working with gross ups & dealing with monthly & yearly international reporting
  • Execute multiple micro processes post finalization of salary until the delivery of payroll
  • Should be well versed with reporting of different reports to different stakeholders in the company, monthly/quarterly, half yearly & annually.
  • Should be well versed with handling the Payroll year end activities leading to successful delivery of Form 16 to employees.
  • Independently handling employee queries and proactively providing solutions
  • Should be pro-active and able to think of multiple solutions and scenarios of a problem
  • Ability to deal with banks & various other external vendors
  • Should provide leverage to senior manager.
  • Should have knowledge & good understanding of statutory & labor compliances
  • Should be well versed with preparing data for filing TDS returns, PF returns, Professional tax returns, Labor welfare funds in the systems
  • Should have the experience of dealing with different compliance vendors to get all the compliances in place like coordinating with vendors to file PF, LWF, P Tax returns, file returns on various Labor laws like Bonus, gratuity, minimum wages, POSH, holiday, ER return etc.
  • Arrangement of various helpdesk in office premises to address employee queries regarding payroll, PF, tax and other compliance
Reporting :
  • Should be able to manage US wage reporting for expat employees being paid out of India.
  • Any other reports asked by management
Accounting/Audit :
  • Should closely work with team Leadership to help in closing the month perspective payroll journal entries
  • Booking & processes related to accounting leading to month end.
  • Should have the capability to clear all payroll related reconciliations
  • Experience of working with internal auditors, statutory auditors & tax auditors
  • Graduate/Post-Graduate with Payroll experience of ~7-8 years
  • Professional customer service attitude
  • Focused, detail oriented and high level of data accuracy
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and within timelines
  • High level of discretion - ability to deal with highly confidential information appropriately
  • Hands on with Advanced Excel.
