Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Real Estate Accountant at StoutCap. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, bookkeeping, including preparing financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and reporting processes. The role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing tax documents, managing payroll, and analyzing financial data to provide insights for decision-making. Collaboration with various teams, as well as accurate and timely financial reporting, will be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Real Estate Accounting, Financial Recording, and Reconciliation procedures.
• Proficiency in Real Estate Budgeting, Financial Reporting, and Analysis of financial data.

• Experience with Real Estate Tax Preparation and Compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Real Estate accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting in real estate or investment management firms is a must
