Senior Business Finance

As we work towards establishing our presence globally we are looking to hire a leader to build and establish the We are looking for a dynamic Business Finance Manager (Series B funded Company) to partner with business leaders in driving financial performance, profitability, and strategic decision-making. The role requires strong commercial acumen, financial controllership, and the ability to translate business drivers into financial outcomes. You will act as a bridge between Finance and Business teams, ensuring robust planning, forecasting, and execution for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Decision Support

• Act as the finance partner for business units/brands to drive growth and profitability.
• Provide actionable insights through financial modeling, variance analysis, and ROI evaluation.
• Support category/brand heads in strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and cost optimization.

Financial Planning & Controllership

• Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Ensure robust controllership, compliance, and risk management across business units.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, and overall financial health of the portfolio.

Commercial & Supply Chain Finance

• Drive financial performance for plants, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
• Manage cost efficiencies, productivity, and operational KPIs across the value chain.
• Support vendor negotiations, procurement, and contracts from a finance perspective.

Business Reporting

• Prepare business performance reports for leadership and board reviews.
• Drive standardization of MIS, dashboards, and KPIs for effective decision-making.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with corporate governance standards.

• Lead finance transformation projects (ERP, SAP, process digitization, automation).
• Implement GST/compliance processes and manage transitions effectively.
• Partner on strategic projects including new business launches, R&D investments, and financial inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 6 12 years of progressive experience in Business Finance / Commercial Finance / Controllership.
• Proven experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Manufacturing industries preferred.
• Strong exposure to P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and supply chain finance.
• Experience in SAP, GST implementation, and finance transformation will be an advantage.
