Job summary
Our client is a well-established insurance broker based in Dubai, offering tailored personal and commercial insurance solutions across the UAE. They are seeking an assistant general underwriter to support their growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the insurance industry in a similar role, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to provide administrative and operational support to both the underwriting team and clients.
Role summary
The assistant general underwriter will provide vital support to the underwriting function across various lines of general insurance, such as property, liability, engineering, or miscellaneous classes. The role involves assisting with quotations, risk data collection, policy documentation, and coordination with brokers and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery.

Requirements
Skills & experience required
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in insurance, business administration, or related field.
Experience:
Regulatory: Understanding of UAE insurance regulations and documentation requirements.
Technical proficiency:
Languages: Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
