Founding Data Scientist (IIT/NIT/BIT)

One of the fastest growing B2B fintech in India. Founders have a proven track record of scaling fintech startups. They are currently 4 years old, well-funded and have a team of about 50+ employees in Bangalore.
About The Role
They are hiring the founding data scientist which will be the very first hire for the data science team. This person will work cross-function with the engineering and product team to build amazing products from scratch.
Requirements

• Bachelors from a top-tier engineering college like IITs, BITs, NITs etc.
• 
  Hands-on with machine learning libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power
• BI
• Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python or R
• Must have worked extensively on unstructured data
• Knowledge of credit risk and working on a financial product would be a plus

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to bring actionable insights and drive decision-making for the organization
• Build predictive and prescriptive models to solve business challenges such as risk assessment, credit scoring, customer behaviour prediction and fraud detection
• Collaborate with engineers to define data collection strategies, ensure data quality, and build pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Partner with product teams to integrate data science solutions into financial products and improve customer experience.
• Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests to assess the impact of new features and strategies
