About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to support and manage
entity-level accounting for Toasts India operations. This role will be responsible for
ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local statutory
requirements, and timely close processes, while managing and developing a team
of accountants.
You will collaborate closely with global accounting, tax, payroll, and FP&A teams,
as well as external auditors and advisors, to support a growing and dynamic
business in India.
What Youll Do
? Manage end-to-end accounting activities for Toasts India entities, including
monthly, quarterly, and annual close
? Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with
Ind AS, local statutory requirements, and Toast accounting policies
? Own balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, prepaids,
fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
? Act as the primary point of contact for statutory audits, tax audits, and
regulatory filings Partner with global accounting teams to ensure alignment on accounting
policies, processes, and controls
? Support internal controls and SOX compliance, including documentation,
testing, and remediation
? Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, payroll, legal, and FP&A teams to
support accurate reporting and business needs
? Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency,
accuracy, and scalability
? Manage, mentor, and develop a team (currently a 3 member team)
? Support ad hoc accounting projects, system enhancements, and cross-
functional initiatives
What Youll Need
? Masters degree in Commerce (M.Com) or equivalent; Semi-qualified or
Qualified CA preferred
? 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on
entity-level accounting
? Strong working knowledge of Ind AS and Indian statutory and regulatory
Requirements
? Prior experience managing or leading a small accounting team
? Experience with month-end close, audits, and financial reporting
? Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks
? Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally
? Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
? Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills

? Experience working in a multinational or high-growth technology
