We are currently recruiting for a Projects Manager to join our Systems Integration team in our Headquarters, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Free Zone.
Scope:
The role oversees the planning, execution, and completion of security system projects, ensuring that all objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. It involves managing the Engineering and Civils teams, coordinating with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality security solutions that meet the specific needs of the organization or client. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with both Engineering and Civils teams to deliver the services we offer as per Transguard standards.
Responsibilities:
Financial
- Provide updates on projects for P&L, budgets, forecasts and working capital for the Business Unit
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with the teams for design and pricing reviews.
- Monitor project spend and resource allocation to ensure it is kept within budget and report to the Leadership team.
Customer
- Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and stakeholders regularly.
- Manage client expectations and handle any issues or changes in project scope.
- Attend weekly meetings, site meetings, etc.
Process
- Lead and maintain the planning, scheduling, documentation, reports, records, and execution of security system integration projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Ensure that all project documentation is stored securely and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Allocate resources, assign tasks, and establish project timelines to optimize productivity and meet project milestones.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions to address deviations from plan.
- Track invoices, Payments
- Raise WIRs and attend sites inspections.
- Track projects updates and monitor the projects deadlines, work closely with Projects planner and QS engineer.
Innovation
- Streamline and standardize operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality of project delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the security systems industry.

- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in project execution and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in managing security system projects, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, gate barriers and integrated security solutions.
- Strong understanding of security systems, including hardware and software components. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Arabic is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, drive results, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive client relationships and manage client expectations effectively.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are desirable.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites or project locations as needed.
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- The role will involve travel to various client sites and project locations.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours may be required, depending on project demands.
- Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites, which may involve standing, walking, and lifting moderate loads.
