Advocate Lawyer

The role involves close collaboration with the Founder and senior management, acting as a trusted legal advisor across corporate, commercial, regulatory, employment, and dispute-related matters. The successful candidate will ensure legal robustness, risk mitigation, and compliance while enabling business agility in a fast-growing consumer brand environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Corporate & Commercial Legal Advisory • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalise commercial contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, vendor contracts, influencer agreements, and strategic partnership documents • Advise on corporate structuring, governance frameworks, shareholder matters, and statutory obligations • Support domestic and international expansion initiatives with legally sound commercial frameworks 2. Regulatory Compliance & Governance • Ensure full compliance with applicable Indian corporate laws, FMCG and cosmetics regulations, consumer protection laws, labour laws, and allied regulations • Monitor and interpret evolving regulatory requirements impacting the beauty and cosmetics industry and advise leadership proactively • Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance across marketing claims, packaging, labelling, sales, and distribution • Oversee statutory filings, corporate governance documentation, and regulatory reporting 3. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection • Manage all intellectual property matters including trademarks, copyrights, filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement • Protect the companys brand assets against infringement, misuse, counterfeiting, and reputational risk across digital and offline platforms • Coordinate with external IP consultants, legal advisors, and enforcement authorities as required 4. Risk Management, Employee Misconduct & Dispute Resolution • Investigate, advise on, and manage matters involving employee discrepancies, breaches of company policy, misconduct, or any suspected illegal or unethical activities • Represent and defend the company’s legal interests in all such matters, including initiating, managing, or contesting legal proceedings on behalf of Wnoss Cosmetics • Handle disciplinary actions, employment-related disputes, and compliance escalations • Manage legal notices, litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution proceedings • Liaise with external counsels, law enforcement agencies, government bodies, and regulatory authorities when required Experience & Qualifications • Qualified Advocate / Company Lawyer with valid professional credentials • Minimum 3–7 years of relevant professional legal experience • Mandatory prior experience with FMCG, cosmetics, consumer brands, startups, or founder-led organisations • Strong working knowledge of Indian corporate law, commercial law, regulatory compliance, labour laws, and consumer protection frameworks • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, sensitive, and high-stakes legal matters with confidentiality and sound judgment Key Attributes • Exceptional professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail • Strong commercial acumen aligned with business objectives • Ability to operate independently while working directly with founders and senior leadership • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills • High ethical standards and risk-awareness suited to a premium brand environment Work Model Location: On-site & Hybrid Application Details To Apply: hr@wnosscosmetics.com We appreciate your interest in Wnoss Cosmetics and thank you for taking the time to review this opportunity.
