Primary Responsibility:

Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the Bank brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate and elevate our brand from the rest of the competition.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy:

1. Develop and implement high-level strategies to advance Banks objective of improving lives and livelihoods in India, specifically in the areas of providing daily needs such food, shelter/housing, mental health, education and financial inclusion.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the social impact space.

Governance and Compliance:

1. Establish and maintain robust governance structures and processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with India & International regulatory requirements.
2. Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to govern the foundations operations and activities.

Impact Measurement and Evaluation:

1. Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of the foundations initiatives across the region.
2. Utilize data-driven insights to continuously drive effectiveness and efficiencies.
3. Communicate impact findings internally and externally to stakeholders, partners, and impact investors.

Partnership and Collaboration:

1. Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, corporations, social enterprises, academia, and community-based organizations, to amplify the foundations impact.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to leverage cross-functional expertise and resources for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

Advocacy and Thought Leadership:

1. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including writing articles, speaking at conferences, and participating in industry events to drive discourse and innovation in the social impact sector.
