EazyDiner is a website for food/restaurant discovery and a table booking portal of restaurants. Launched by journalist, food writer and TV host Vir Sanghvi. Features expert reviews, user generated reviews, features to browse restaurants/bars by type of food, location etc. Users can also ask for recommendations on eating out, through its EazyConcierge feature where they can call and get recommendations and make instant bookings. Every booking through EazyDiner comes with a special deal such as a complimentary dessert or beverage or a discount on the entire bill. Makes money from advertising and by charging restaurants a booking fee. Claims to have over 8000 restaurants, 200 bars and 600 critic reviews as of March 2015. Launched Android app and working on iOS. Clocking INR 50 Lakh in monthly revenues (Aug 2015). Has raised $4M in funding from Saama Capital, DSG Consumer Partners, and Gulpreet Kohli, ex-MD of ChrysCapital. Operates in 9 cities and planning to be operational in 6 more locations by 2017.
