For freshers, Capgemini states the placement process typically involves:

• Online aptitude test – Logical reasoning, verbal ability and quantitative skills.
• Coding or technical assessment – Programming knowledge and problem solving.
• Group discussion – For select roles; tests communication, teamwork and analytical thinking.
• Technical interview – Domain-specific knowledge and practical application.
• HR interview – Behavioural aspects, career aspirations and company fit.

Capgemini also states its recruitment runs exclusively through official channels and that it never asks candidates to pay a fee at any stage. An online test is required for freshers, not for experienced hires.
