Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited is an Indian standalone health insurer headquartered in New Delhi. It was founded in 2008 as Max Bupa Health Insurance, a joint venture between Max India and the UK's Bupa, and began operations in 2010.
Following Bupa's increase to a majority stake, the company was rebranded to Niva Bupa in 2021. It is among the largest retail health insurers in India, offering individual, family floater and group health cover, and is listed on the NSE and BSE.
