Valeo India is the Indian arm of Valeo, the French automotive technology supplier. Valeo has been present in India since 1997 and its Indian headquarters is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The India operation comprises eight production sites, a global R&D centre, five distribution platforms and a front office, spread across Chennai, Pune, Sanand, Noida and Gurugram. Valeo employs over 6,000 people in India, nearly half of them engineers, and its Chennai R&D centre alone houses more than 3,000 engineers working on mechanical design, simulation, embedded software, vision systems and functional safety.
