IFS

Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) wants to make the most of corporate resources. The company provides enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for midsize companies, as well as asset and product lifecycle management applications. IFS offers industry-specific components for such industries as aerospace, automotive, construction, defense, manufacturing, retail, utilities, and telecommunications. The company also has a joint venture with BAE SYSTEMS called IFS Defence. Customers have included Finnair, Heaven Hill Distilleries, Lockheed Martin, and the UK Navy. Marketing its products worldwide, IFS generates more than 80% of sales from consulting and support services related to its software.

The Indian Forest Service is one of the three All India Services of the Government of India. The other two All India Services being the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service. It was constituted in the year 1966 under the All India Services Act, 1951, by the Government of India.
