UpGrad operates in Product | B2C | B2B. Its hiring is not published, but recruitment for roles of this kind normally follows these stages:

1. Online assessment – Aptitude and logical reasoning plus a coding section (data structures, algorithms and one or two programming problems).
2. Technical interview – Programming fundamentals, core computer-science subjects and a walkthrough of your projects.
3. Second technical or design round – Deeper problem solving; system or low-level design for experienced candidates.
4. Managerial round – Role fit, ownership and how you approach problems.
5. HR round – Behavioural questions, compensation, location and notice period.

The number of rounds varies with seniority: entry-level hiring is usually shorter, while senior roles add further interviews. Confirm the actual process with the recruiter for the role you are applying to.
