Job Description
- As a Consultant Reporting and Technology Enablement at Maersk, you will play a vital role in enhancing reporting capabilities by leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Databricks. Your primary focus will be on driving innovation, upskilling teams in data analytics and reporting, and contributing to the success of finance reporting solutions for both headquarter and frontline teams.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver impactful results, such as increasing the number of automated reports, driving technology adoption, and reducing time and cost spent on reporting processes. You will be responsible for team upskilling and mentorship, leading end-to-end projects, driving technology adoption and innovation, as well as automation and maintenance support.
Key responsibilities include delivering targeted training sessions to enhance team skills in tools like Power BI, Excel, Power Query, SQL, and Python, leading the design and development of reporting projects, driving technology adoption like Databricks, and automating report maintenance processes using SQL and Python. You will also troubleshoot technical issues, ensure operational efficiency, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate for this role should have expertise in Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and a strong background in financial reporting and Business Intelligence. Proficiency in SQL, Python, Databricks, and report automation is essential. Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills are required, along with a proactive and collaborative mindset. A master's degree in finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, along with prior experience in training or upskilling teams, is preferred.
