Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• repare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
  
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets
  
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  

• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
  
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best accounting practices
  
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data integrity and operational efficiency

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
  
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Effective communication and leadership skills
